March 2008
Alan Campbell Special Projects (ACSP), part of the Alan Campbell Group is delighted to announce this month that its been awarded a ‘Gold Card’ by National Grid Wireless (NGW) in recognition of its excellent on site management, installation quality and health & safety.
The award comes following on-site visits by NGW assessors which looked at how teams from ACSP were managing their working environment whilst onsite at NGW facilities. Over three consecutive months, the ACSP teams consistently achieved a First Time Pass Rate (FTPR) of over 90 per cent and so the award was made to recognise exceptional on-site quality performance.
Andy Haville, operations manager, Alan Campbell Special Projects said; "We are extremely pleased to be awarded a Gold Card by National Grid Wireless. We work hard to ensure that our teams are providing the high levels of service that our clients expect, especially when it comes to on-site management, build quality and healthy & safety, not just of our staff but our client’s employees as well. We know we have market-leading processes in-place but to receive recognition from a client in this manner is testament to the professionalism and dedication of our teams."
In making the award, NGW pointed towards the importance it places on health and safety and effective on-site management. "Health, safety & environmental excellence are of paramount importance to National Grid Wireless. Contractors that proactively manage these issues are thanked for their efforts in helping us to achieve our goal of ‘an injury-free workplace,’" said John Davidson, HSEQ Advisor at NGW.
